Bookings & Cancellations

To book your table please note that:

At LUNCH anyone, including children and babies, is welcome. A maximum of two dogs per table, too. In all cases, please add a note so we can seat you most comfortably.

At DINNER, only ADULTS, please, i.e. no babies or children under 10 or dogs.

Please make a note on your booking of all dietary preferences or needs, bearing in mind we cannot guarantee a nut-free environment. The notes won’t appear on your confirmation and we ask that you make sure when ordering that you flag up any life-threatening allergies – please do not assume we know.

Credit card details are required for all bookings. The system will automatically make a charge of  30.00 per person if we do not receive at least 24 hours notice of fewer people arriving than were booked or complete cancellation. To cancel a booking, use the confirmation form you received or send an email to info@watsonandwalpole.com
Please don’t use the phone, or social media or a business hours-only email address.

We always try to honour a request for a specific table but cannot guarantee it, especially if you subsequently alter the time and/or numbers of your booking. We present a complimentary cupcake with lighted candle to those celebrating a birthday or anniversary. (Traceability regulations mean customers’ own cakes may not be brought in.) We don’t do decorated plates, balloons, flowers, singing or any other razzmatazz.
